Gardening With My Muck Garden Shoes
Not so long ago, I was married, had two children, a beautiful house, and a very loving husband. Actually it was a long time ago, twenty years. Nowadays it’s just me, my children have moved out and on their own and my husband passed away a few years ago.
I taught elementary school for a long time, and hopefully touched the lives of many of my students. I enjoy running into my former students just about everywhere I go. It’s one of those joyful lifelong experiences that keep giving.
One of my interests in life is gardening, and I look forward to summers because of this. The best part about teaching was having the summers off to enjoy my hobby.
Now, my house doesn’t have a very big yard, but what it does have is enough room for me to plant quite a few rows of vegetable and other plants. Every morning, I slip on my Muck Boots Garden Shoes and head out to take inventory. There are not too many things that give me as much joy as seeing the progress of a growing plant. Naturally my kids are my biggest accomplishment in life, but this does come close.
My neighbor across the street bought me these Muck Boots for Mother’s day on year. I love the fact that they resist any garden type contaminants. I love the purple color too. It’s one for the ladies.
