Yes You can with effort and good content on your blog. I recommend getting a blogging platform that you can test lots of free themes on to find one relevant to your Niche. But host this yourself with your own domain name. Take time finding a good Domain name, always get .com or .net no hyphens in the name as people will not remember to put them in. Hosting is really cheap these days,do not go with the free ones as not reliable in my view-you need a Cpanel and good support help if you go wrong.
